Based on the success of the previous Young Innovation Brokers for Visegrad Countries (YIBROVIC) training, the Summer School aims to draw together V4 students in order to educate young innovation brokers, able to mediate the purchased knowledge of agricultural innovations in Visegrad countries.

Project Summary

YIBROVIC Summer School primarily aims to connect new generations of agriculture experts to exchange their knowledge and ideas. These new agricultural innovation brokers will develop innovative solutions for V4 and other partnering countries, formulating an innovation incubator, also establishing a network for sharing knowledge, ideas and best practices in the field of agricultural innovation brokerage.

The summer school is free of charge for the selected applicants which includes accommodation with full board. Travel cost reimbursement can be claimed for up to 80.00 euros per participant.

In order to strengthen connections and start a common thinking in capacity building of agricultural innovation services in CEE countries, Discovery R&D Center invited the representatives of its international partners. Fourteen participants of six countries were present, including delegates from Mendel University in Brno, University of Agriculture in Krakow, Wageningen University, University of Huddersfield, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Regional Developmental Association of Felso-homokhatsag and Szent István University.

Budget: 61,478.78 €

IVF contribution: 9,000.00 €
